Much like baseball, football, and hockey fans, wresting fans love to show their support for their favorite wrestler by wearing wresting shirts. While the more popular wrestlers tend to have the largest variety of shirts to choose from, even the newest wrestler will have at least one wrestling shirt you can buy that bears their likeness.

Many wresting shirts have gone down in wrestling history. Perhaps one of the most popular in the last fifteen years is the Austin 3:16 shirt. When this was at the height of popularity in the late 90’s, you saw this wrestling shirt more than all others combined.

No matter who your favorite wrestler is, you know part of the fun and excitement of going to a live wrestling match is showing support for your favorite wrestler, and part of that is wearing wrestling shirts. Fans are encouraged to be a huge part of the show, and their tastes and trends seem to dictate where storylines go. You can buy wrestling shirts almost anywhere. Many retailers will carry them when wrestling is popular. Professional wrestling seems to go in waves; it is popular for a few years and then declines, only to climb back up again. You almost know it’s become more main stream again by the presence of wrestling shirts in major retail stores.

You can probably find the widest variety of wrestling shirts online. The WWE, for example, has massive amounts of different merchandise available on their website. Wrestling shirts aren’t the only things they sell; you may be amazed at what they have put their logo or wrestlers likeness on to sell to the public. Some people collect wrestling shirts and figures. Shirts like Austin 3:16 and any early Hulk Hogan shirts are favorites. These are more likely to be worth more money. If your favorite of all time is not an overly popular wrestler, you will have much better luck finding a vintage wrestling shirt at a better price.

Whether your wrestling shirts are old or new, take good care of them so they will last a long time. Use a gentle cleaning product like Woolite, and never put your shirts in the dryer. Air-drying is always the best solution to keep your shirts looking good and this also lessens wear and tear on the fabric. Wrestling shirts may not be as important as a wedding dress, but they may hold special memories for you nonetheless. Enjoy your wrestling shirts, take good care of them, and keep them in good shape for years to come.
