With the advent of technology, the schools that most of us grew up in are changing beyond belief. This is not a theoretical belief that I have. It is a result of a recent visit to my son’s school to see things for myself. Where we had simple tables and chairs with little more than our books, pens and pencils, the kids nowadays have ergonomically designed desks with computers, scanners, printers, CD writers and the like. And where the teachers in our times used the chalkboard, or the blackboard as it was commonly referred to, you have erasable laminated boards and erasable markers.
