A few years back, I went on a blind date that a friend had set up for me. I was a nervous wreck and it showed. I was supposed to meet him at a nice local restaurant and spotted him as soon as I arrived. I was walked very nervously up the sloped sidewalk when I stumbled. I caught myself, but my adorable tiny purse wasn’t so lucky. It fell to the ground scattering its contents all over the sidewalk. I was mortified. The gentleman that he was, he came down to help me. Luckily, I didn’t have anything embarrassing in my purse but I did have five tubes of lip gloss.

When I was growing up, I loved the flavor of bbq sauce. I ate it on everything from hamburgers to onion rings. Much to my mother’s dismay, bbq sauce graced our dinner table every night. She didn’t really like the fact that I slathered all of her good cooking with bbq sauce, but I guess she figured it was good that I was cleaning my plate even if I drenched my dinner in sauce to do it.
