A favorite relative of mine gave me a wonderful idea when I was in middle school. She said that she had kept all of the rose petals from every rose she ever received. She dried them, of course, but kept them for one sole purpose. She wanted them for her wedding day. Her reasoning for that, which I will explain in a moment, was such a wonderful idea that I carried that with me until my own wedding day.
