  6. Fruits and vegetables should be a staple part of your diet because they are low in fat. Apart from helping you lower cholesterol levels, eating fruits and vegetables can also benefit your body because they are high in vitamins and minerals.

  7. If you have been diagnosed with a heart disease then it is probably better or even necessary to consume the proper medication and drugs prescribed by your doctor to keep your cholesterol levels in check.
